Research  Interests:

 

My MIS dissertation combined acceptance theory perspectives with media Uses and Gratifications theory to explain adoption of Internet technology. My published work in this area has applied media use models and mass communication theory to understanding technology use;  this can be broadly construed as Organizational Psychology research under the rubric of Human-Computer Interaction.  My Marketing dissertation applied priming theory from cognitive psychology to understand the process of influence and persuasion in telemarketing sales presentations. My methodological interests span psychometrics and measure validation, with a focus on structural equation modeling.
